By train, Rouen Rive-Droite station takes you towards Paris, but congestion on the Île-de-France network beyond Mantes-la-Jolie makes journey times uncertain, and you still have to reach the south of the city afterwards. The route from Rouen to Orly Airport
The way out of Rouen follows the N338 for 7 km, then the A139, which links Rouen to the A13 south of the urban area, for 17 km. Once on the A13 the car hardly leaves it again: 92 km of Normandy motorway, right up to the gates of the Paris region.
The last major road is the A86, the ring road that skirts Paris, here on its southern side, for 15 km. The journey therefore passes neither through La Défense nor through the centre of the capital. A few kilometres on more modest roads then lead to the airport.
