Rouen transfer: Cherbourg to Roissy CDG — pre-booked driver
NAVETTE ROUEN · NORMANDY

Cherbourg-en-Cotentin → Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle by private driver
Cherbourg-en-Cotentin lies at the end of the Paris–Cherbourg railway line, but Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle is not on that route: the train stops at Paris-Saint-Lazare, and you must then cross the capital with your suitcases to reach the north-east of Paris. A direct link to Roissy TGV was nevertheless tried from July 2009 to December 2010, at one return trip a day, then abandoned before its term: the passenger threshold was not reached.

A private driver settles the matter in a single move. The car covers 379 km, about 4 h 20 outside heavy traffic, from the door of a Cherbourg home to the terminal, with no connection and no waiting on a platform. Roissy is the first airport in France and the gateway for long-haul flights: people often leave from it for a faraway journey, with luggage to match.

The route from Cherbourg-en-Cotentin to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport
On leaving the conurbation, the D352 serves first as a link over 5 km. Next comes the N13, the national road Paris – Évreux – Caen – Cherbourg, followed for 112 km. A short link of 10 km joins this axis to the A13, the motorway of Normandy between Paris, Rouen and Caen, which carries most of the trip with 200 km.
Near the Paris region, the car takes the A14, the branch of the A13 towards La Défense and the west of Paris, over 16 km. It then joins the A86, the ring road that skirts Paris, here on the northern side, for 17 km, then a last section of 10 km to the terminals. The route calls at no town of the Seine valley and avoids the centre of Paris.
- N13: about 112 km
- A13: about 200 km
- A14: about 16 km
- A86: about 17 km

|---|---|
| 07:00 | 00:10 |

Calculation: 4 h 20 of driving time without traffic, a 30-minute margin, and arrival at the terminal 2 hours before take-off. Your airline may ask for more: the exact departure time is agreed with you when you book.
The driver waits for you wherever you wish in the new commune, created in 2016 from the merger of Cherbourg-Octeville, Équeurdreville-Hainneville, La Glacerie, Querqueville and Tourlaville: outside your home, at Cherbourg station, opened in 1858, or near the ferry terminal, if you arrive by ferry from the United Kingdom or Ireland. The postcodes 50100, 50110, 50120, 50130, 50460 and 50470 all belong to the same pickup zone.
Long-haul flights call for an early arrival at the airport. With more than four hours on the road, you must therefore plan a very early start, or even a night one: the table of recommended times shows the margin to keep. The return is prepared in the same way: give your flight number, and the driver will wait at the terminal even if the plane lands late.
On arrival at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport
Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport has three terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2 (halls 2A to 2G) and Terminal 3. The CDGVAL, a free automatic shuttle, links Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and the Terminal 2 station. Give us your flight number and your terminal when you book: the driver sets you down in front of the right departures hall.
